The long fall. Colorado, Rustrel

This year we could hike the long trail here. The three other times we went it was closed due to fire hazard. The map says it is 5k but we took 2 1/2 hours to hike it, all up or down on rocky paths. There are fences in most places where you could fall, but this 60 foot chute only had two logs across it. I'm not too fond of heights so this picture was no fun to take.

We foolishly left our water in the car and it was an 85f day, so we were some hurtin' buckwheats when we finished.
