This is clearly the shadow of a hydrant!
A large bald hydrant. We are at the Marseilles airport motel for a night's sleep and our flight to the US tomorrow:-(. We have had a wonderful visit and made some lasting friends in Saignon. We go next June and July and expect a visit from a certain young fräulein and the boyfriend;-))
