Saint Chapelle, Paris

This is about 1/8 of the room, all stained glass. There is a great movie about how they restored it from obscurity.

Saignon

Right across from our rental is a lovely building that houses La Maison des Arts et Lettres. It has a fine bistrot, where you can get a great buffet lunch, made from scratch every day. You can also rent one of a number of lovely suites with kitchens. There are two painting workshops in the summer with Andrew Petrov as the teacher. Before and between the workshops he paints around the village. One day I saw this work drying on his window sill.

Window, Saignon

This little alley always has interesting and creative arrangements. I suspect artistes.

Dots, Arles

Dots are everywhere during the Rencontres. Every year there is a new animal mascot for that year's exhibit, which has lots of dots on it. Janie theorized that they come from these windows in the exhibition hall. They all have dots like this. Either that or the pixel-peepers are gonna tell me to get a D810;-)
