This tough little plant shows up every year at a corner of our garden. It looks great in. the wet Spring months and slowly declines in the sun and heat. This year it flowered!

Oh. Hollyhocks love it wet - this year it's the first time I had some in Mainz as well as in the woods. I never thought them able to grow in the Luberon.
Actually, they are all over in our area. They fade in the heat and dry, but come back every year.
