Auberge du Presbytere, Saignon

A sad sight. The Auberge has been sold and closed. Rumors swirl but it seems that the nice little square by the fountain will not be filled with tourists and townsfolk having an afternoon apero for the foreseeable future. Sigh

A view down the valley from Saignon

Always changing and always lovely.

Foyer breakfast, Saignon

Every Wednesday the Foyer of Saignon hosts a coffee for the village. Local people and "Etrangers"gather for croissants, coffee and tea. Always nice.

Fountain goldfish, Saignon

There are often fish in our fountain here in Saignon. Mostly goldfish. Every now and then we have seen fishermen put their live catch (trout) in to stay fresh. They scare the bejeebers out of the goldfish. Probably eat a couple of little ones.
