My neighbor has bamboo along our property line. It is the well-behaved clumping variety. It hangs over our fence and feels very Japanese.

Another one of your b/w leaves series! Wonderful, too.
Our neighbour has the not so well behaved variety ... :-( ..it's a nuisance.
The clumping varieties are hard to find. My neighbor has a nursery so he knows his bamboo. The spreaders are hard to keep in check, you have to block their roots.
