We had a great entertainment the other night. This wonderful band marched into the fountain square two people high and led a crowd around the town playing jazzy tunes. These pictures were taken the night before as they practiced.

Every Thursday, in the Salle des Fetes there is a social gathering at 6:00 to relax and catch up with friends. Wine and beer are very inexpensive and people bring nibbles to eat, most of it homemade. It's a lovely way to end the day. They. even put up with my French!

Every Wednesday the Foyer of Saignon hosts a coffee for the village. Local people and "Etrangers"gather for croissants, coffee and tea. Always nice.

We went to the Lourmarin market on Friday. A bit more upscale than the Apt one the next day. Lots of tourists for the first time, summer is here.
