Old friends

 Two old friends came by our dock on their way north from Miami to Vermont. They stopped just off our dock and we got all caught up on kids, grandkids and our lives. They look great.

I couldn't get over the remote in Donnie's hand. He used it to control thrusters to move the boat sideways. He kept the boat in position for 15 minutes.

Shopkeepers of Apt, beware!!

Souhil is an entrepreneur who lives in Saignon. He managed one of Andrew's bistros a few years ago, very well. He now has a business that he is trying to get off the ground, called provincale wine tours. He will take you on either a half or full day tour to some of the hidden gems in the area. We didn't get a chance this time, but plan to in September. We'll report back. His daughter is a cutie.

Every Thursday, Saignon has a small organic market in their parking lot. Lots of good produce, breads, soaps, wines from Domaine Allois which are wonderful and now teas, cheeses and flowers. The guy in the Moxie hat was escorted from the premises when he was found to be the infamous "Buy one, pocket one free, knife bandit."
