Future screen.

Some new neighbors are building a huge pair of houses on the land next door. The first thing they did was put up a 6 foot/2 meter fence along the property line. They broke with common etiquette and put the ugly side outward. The fence blocks our view out of both windows on that side of the house. I planted a giant clumping bamboo outside of both windows that will, in a year or so block all view of the fence and replacing with lovely graceful bamboo stalks and leaves, which I love. The color picture is from two weeks ago, the black and white from two days ago. One stalk almost to the top of the fence. Stay tuned.
