We are in Saignon, in Provence, for the thirteenth time in thirteen years. This is our journal and photo album. I have now added posts from our home in North Florida. Nocatee
This house has a very small lot, with a possibility of nice neighborhood views. This fence encloses the property and is 6 feet (2 meters) tall. Must be a claustrophobic yard.
Nocatee
The giant, multi-neighborhood development across the Intra Coastal Waterway from us keeps growing bigger. Two years ago this was scrub pine woodland.
Blue chair, PVIC
This chair keeps showing up in different places, disappearing, then reappearing. I'm keeping track of it.

Hummingbird magnet, Roscoe
This will be of interest to people who read TOP with Michael Johnston. About two months ago he had a history of the Pentax 50mm f/1.4 lens. He allowed as how it was commissioned to compete with the best Zeiss lens of the day and succeeded beyond expectations. I found one on eBay for $49.00 and ordered it and an adaptor so I could use it on my micro 4/3 cameras. It becomes the equivalent of a 100mm lens. It is beautiful. As Mike suggested, it evokes the look of color in those days (I'm thinking the 70s and 80s) and is still more than acceptably sharp. I have devoted an old Olympus E-M5 to holding it. The bush is called a Firecracker shrub. Very invasive.
