Our little Clio.
Our rental this year is a Renault Clio. In the same size class as the VW Polo. It is a neat little car. The trunk easily swallowed both our bags and two carry-ons. It is, of course, a manual transmission with a small diesel engine. It is plenty of car for here. Enough power to keep up, lots of room, and that wonder, a French suspension. German compacts may be a tiny bit more fun to drive, but the little French cars are a nicer ride. This little guy feels like my Hyundai Sonata at home, a much larger car.
