Farmer Bob's onion field, Bonnieux bike path, West

We have walked this path often over the years and have watched this farmer work his fields. We nicknamed him Farmer Bob. He is very good at his vocation (farming is not a "job", almost every farmer loves his chosen occupation.). These fields rotate crops and lay fallow on a schedule. This field was fallow last Autumn and had Winter wheat the previous Spring. Soon he will harvest and there will be a picture of the new crop.
