Colorado, Rustrel
The Colorado de Provence, outside of the town of Rustrel, is a huge ochre deposit that has been made into an attraction. There are four trails here, three short ones and a long one. This year we walked them all in a day. The longer trail takes you up above all of the deposits. this formation is sort of the signature of the whole place. A lot of smirks from women to their boyfriends/husbands are made about this. The formation is about 100 feet tall.
